Parents of kindergarten age kids in Moore will have three more choices for full day classes.

Moore Public Schools announced today the opening of three new full day kindergarten classes at Apple Creek, Earlywine and Santa Fe Elementary Schools. The classes are in addition to those all ready in place at 15 other district elementary schools.

In addition to the three new classes, the District also announced a change to procedures for enrolling students in full day kindergarten classes. Enrollment packets will be passed out from 5 - 7 p.m. on Friday, April 15th at your child's home school. Those packets will be numbered and must be signed out. The completed packets must be returned to the home school by 3 p.m on Friday, April 22nd.

One thing will not change: the process will be "first come, first served" as it has been in the past.

The District is also asking that, for the safety of students, staff and patrons, that parents not congregate in the school parking lots on Friday, April 15th until after school is dismissed.
